Built on a grandmother's recipe.
Aweri began in a home kitchen in the hills of Himachal Pradesh and grew into a whole range of honest Indian treats.

It started with one jar of pickle.
In early 2021, just after the first wave of the pandemic, I left my five-year corporate career to build something of my own. While looking for ideas, I noticed something: plenty of companies were selling pickles, but no one was selling dates pickle - khajoor ka achaar.
That pickle is my dadi's recipe. Every year she made a big jar of it, and no meal was complete without it. I wanted to share that taste with people beyond our family.
I'm a simple person, and my business is guided by one rule: if we wouldn't feed it to our own family, it doesn't leave the factory. This rule is how the pickle became an assortment of treats - no-added-sugar dates & fruit barfi, baked mathri, makhana crackers, and gifts worth sending.
